Outside Reading #2

Today I started the book New Moon, by Stephanie Meyer, which is the second book in the Twilight Series. I have only read the first chapter, but the suspense is already killing me. The book starts out on Bella's birthday, she is turning 18 and is sad because Edward will always be 17. She doesn't want anyone to make a big deal about her birthday, but Edward and his family can't help themselves. After school, the Cullen's are having a birthday party for Bella. Edwards siblings, Emmett, Jasper, and Rosalie, give Bella a new stereo for her old pick up truck. Right as Bella is opening the gift from Edward and Alice (Edward's sister who is also Bella's friend) she gets a paper cut and a large amount of chaos breaks loose and soon blood is gushing form Bella's arm.
